I.        AGREEMENT OVERVIEW

This warranty document outlines the standard terms and conditions for the hardware warranty for the Vetted Security Solutions Intelligent Enclosure series of products. The models covered through this warranty include (but are not always limited to):

  1. VSS-LPR-MAIN

  1. VSS-LPR-BRG

  1. VSS-SOLAR-MAIN

  1. VSS-CCTV-MAIN

  1. VSS-CCTV-LPR-MAIN

The Vetted Solutions enclosure line is manufactured in Saint Petersburg, FL. using an E-Verified workforce. Vetted Solutions Intelligent Enclosures are the industry leader in terms of quality and warranty coverage provided by the Enclosure Units. The Vetted Intelligent Enclosure series is covered by a component-level warranty of 12 months (1 year).

Each component on the tray is tracked to the primary enclosure serial number. In the event of a failure, a complete replacement tray is preprogrammed to your account specifications. This makes plug-and-play replacement possible and mitigates long-term service costs, as well as serves to mitigate downtime in the event of failures.

During this warranty period, Vetted Security Solutions LLC (Vetted) warrants to the original end-user that each product of its manufacture is free from defects in material and workmanship if properly installed, serviced, and operated under normal conditions.

Vetted’s obligation under this warranty is limited to correcting without charge at its factory any part or parts thereof which shall be returned to its factory prepaid within 12 months after purchase by the original user and which upon examination shall disclose to Vetted’s satisfaction to have been originally defective.

This warranty shall not apply to any Vetted product that must be replaced because of normal wear, that has been subject to misuse, negligence, or accident, or that has been repaired or altered outside of Vetted’s factory unless authorized by Vetted personnel in writing.

Vetted makes no warranties with respect to camera optics, pole infrastructure (when customer supplied pole), or other component parts or accessories not manufactured by Vetted, same being subject only to such warranties, if any, as may be made by their respective manufacturers. Vetted does warrant that it will put forth reasonable effort on behalf of the original users of its products to assure that such manufacturers’ warranties are satisfactorily performed.

Use on any Vetted product of replacement parts other than Vetted-certified replacement parts purchased through Vetted or an authorized Vetted distributor shall void this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY, AND VETTED’S OBLIGATION HEREUNDER, IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, and all other obligations or liabilities including special or consequential damages or contingent liabilities arising out of the failure of any product or part to operate properly.

Vetted shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, whether in contract, tort, under any warranty, or otherwise, beyond the warranty quoted herein for products or parts.

No person is authorized to give any other warranty or to assume any additional obligation on Vetted’s behalf unless made in writing and signed by an officer of Vetted.

This warranty, dated December 2021, supersedes all prior and undated warranty statements, except statements authorized by Vetted in individual contracts.

 

II.      DURING THE SERVICE / WARRANTY PERIOD

a.      Vetted Security Solutions provides a standard support line available at 727-440-3245, excluding legal holidays. A 24-hour support ticket system is available at https://vettedsecuritysolutions.com/support/ and allows users to create a ticket automatically, which will send you an email your ticket number enabling you to track the status of your issue and view tech responses.

b.      Vetted Security Solutions will diagnose the issue and provide an analysis of the cause of the problem within 72 hours of being notified of an issue if the trailer unit is still online. If the trailer is left offline or inoperable, it is the agency’s POC responsibility to leave a time in the ticket, phone message, or with the technician when remote access can be made available to troubleshoot the downed unit.

c.       Vetted Security Solutions will provide a maximum fourteen (14) day turn-a-round on repairs from the date of receipt of the item back to headquarters in Saint Petersburg, FL. Attention should be “Vetted Security Solutions RMA Number” with a reference number for a service ticket.

d.      Vetted Security Solutions will ensure that repairs are completed within specifications with OEM parts.

e.      Repaired equipment to have a complete warranty for a 6-month period or original warranty period, whichever is longer. Warranty to start at agency’s receipt of repaired equipment. Shall include all labor and parts.

f.       This warranty does not cover vandalism or units that have been physically damaged in any way.

g.      All enclosures will come with a QR code sticker with links to documentation, support information, and RMA forms.

 

III.    MAINTENANCE AND SHIPPING

a.      All shipping charges to get equipment to Vetted Solution’s designated address are the responsibility of the agency or partner. Vetted Solutions will cover the return shipping cost of any approved warranty return.

b.      Software maintenance includes free access to software updates and software hotfixes. Includes updates/patches to software at quarterly increments. Instructions for updates in-house to server/client software will also be provided to the agency
